Can you feel it?
It’s been more than a year of the whatever it is we’re calling it. And things are starting to get back to...what, exactly? Thoughts?
The air feels different. Silences are weirdly over-hushed, like someone turned the soundtrack off. Seeing people in groups is strangely threatening in a pod-people, non-threatening kind of way (they look like us, they look friendly, I guess it’s ok...).
And then there’s Brain Fog, which, let’s face it, you have to love the name for, if nothing else. Here, I thought I’d forgotten my car keys...nope. Brain Fog. Why did I come into this room? No idea but not my fault. Brain Fog. What’s the name of that actor in that movie about you know? Brain Fog.
I’d like the Brain Fog concept to stick around. It’s very convenient, understandable, non-political and therefore, polite. I think we can all benefit from the Brain Fog idea and...what was I saying?...see what I mean?
