I like a good list. A To Do List, a Shows to Watch List, a Book List, a List of Lists.

Thus, I am never listless.

I like the order and the built-in goal factor. Chances are a list goes from best to worst or most important to least important – something like that, and if you get through a list, well, it’s an accomplishment of sorts, right? And I think you deserve a prize! At least, that’s what I’m telling myself this week, because this week I have a Packing List to address and it’s gonna be challenging.

We’re getting ready to go away for an extended period of time, longer than we’ve ever traveled before in one journey. Well, actually it’s four journeys, each literally flowing into the next. Be that as it may, it’s still a lotta packing to do and we want to be smart about it, and efficient, and well-edited – this is when you realize that a good black T shirt is your best friend, just sayin’.

And since much of this trip is a nautical adventure, you could say that we need to list concisely and strategically, so we won’t be “listing” at sea...see what I did there?
